The Cleveland Cavaliers have already spoken to Kevin Love about his role and minutes moving forward, a source tells Jason Lloyd of The Athletic. 

The Cavaliers committed to Jarrett Allen with a five-year, $100 million contract as well as by selecting Evan Mobley at No. 3. The Cavaliers will almost certainly prioritize Allen and Mobley with minutes.

Love is owed $31.3 million this season and $28.9 million in 22-23. While both sides would likely benefit from a buyout, discussions haven't occurred to this point. Love would likely need to give back between $12 million and $15 million for the Cavaliers to consider agreeing to a buyout. Love has given no indication he's willing to do that.

Love averaged 12.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 24.9 minutes over 25 games last season.

Mimo wszystko trudno mi uwierzyc, ze Lakers na tym etapie (co innego przed rozpoczeciem FA) chcieli podpisac Lou. Po tych wszystkich ruchach jakie zrobili i dostepny, skillsecie, po co im on mialby byc i czyje minuty mialby dostac? No ale niech bedzie.

Fajnie jakby wrocil do Warriors z wiadomych powodow. Juz teraz jednak obstawiam takie narracje:

- Warriors - „Piekny powrot i piekne zwienczenie kariery”

- Nets - „Brakujacy element ukladanki, ultimate stopper Lebrona. It’s over”

- Lakers - „Doesn’t move the needle a bit. They’re all waaay too old now”
