The 2021 NBA Finals (branded as the NBA Finals 2021 presented by YouTube TV for sponsorship reasons) will be the championship series of the National Basketball Association (NBA)'s 2020–21 season and conclusion of the season's playoffs. It will feature the Eastern Conference Champions, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Western Conference Champions, the Phoenix Suns. With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting the NBA for the second consecutive year, the scheduled start date of this best-of-seven playoff series has been pushed from its usual time in June to July 6, and a possible game 7 will be held on July 22.[1] This NBA Finals features an unprecedented and historical matchup as both Phoenix and Milwaukee are some of the NBA's smallest markets, and both teams seek to end long championship droughts that when combined tally up to 103 seasons without a championship, the most ever for any Finals matchup between two teams with long title droughts; the Bucks won their first and only title in 1971, while the Suns have yet to win the title since joining the league in 1968. By coincidence, the two teams meeting in the Finals were the two expansion teams which began NBA play in the 1968–69 season. Both teams were involved in a coin toss for the right to select first in the 1969 NBA draft, which the Bucks won and used to select Lew Alcindor from UCLA.[2] Alcindor, later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, won three NBA Most Valuable Player Awards in his first five seasons and led the Bucks to their only two NBA Finals appearances to date, in 1971 and 1974. Ciekawie będzie w obronie, bo Raptors w ECF robili ścianę ludzi wokół Giannisa w pomalowanym (zresztą w poprzedniej serii z Sixers podobnie), a teraz czekają ich zupełnie inne wyzwania. Po drugiej stronie w sumie odwrotnie, Green vs Kawhi, All-Time topowy obrońca vs All-Time topowy scorer, podczas gdy Clippers/Rockets/Blazers to były wszystko teamy opierające się na guardach. Ogólnie ktokolwiek wygra i tak może być zajebiście - albo All-Time indywidualny run KL, pierwszy tytuł Raptors i detronizacja GSW, albo mega beka z Duranta, jeśli Warriors wygrają bez niego/prawie bez niego.
